The term is new; the need is not. A trading card concierge finds the product you cannot buy, proves it is what you asked for, and puts it in your hands: insured, discreetly, without you dealing with distributors, resellers, exporters or couriers.

A serious collector who wants a Japanese Pokémon case in Dubai would otherwise deal with a Japanese seller, a proxy buyer, an exporter, an insurer and a courier, in three languages, with no recourse if the box arrives resealed. A concierge replaces that chain with one accountable partner.

What the service covers
- Search: locating the product through distributors, retailers and private holders across Japan, Europe and North America
- Verification: photographs of the exact units (seals, shrink-wrap, print codes, condition) before you commit
- Settlement: one all-in quote, paid by bank transfer or cryptocurrency once you approve
- Logistics: packing for high value, full-value insurance, DHL Express / UPS / dedicated courier, signature on delivery
- Discretion: no client list, no references, no publicity
How it differs from a shop, a marketplace or a broker
A shop sells what it has in stock at a listed price; when the product is sold out, the shop cannot help. A marketplace connects you with anonymous sellers and leaves verification, insurance and disputes to you. A broker typically works between dealers, not for a private client. A concierge works for you alone: it has no inventory to move, quotes each search individually, and takes responsibility for the product from verification to your door.
Who it is for
Collectors and holders who value their time, want the exact product rather than whatever is available, and prefer one accountable partner over a chain of strangers. Grail Concierge works with engagements from USD 5,000; below that, a good retailer is the better choice.
What it costs
You receive one all-in figure: product, insured delivery, handling. There is no menu of fees. The figure reflects the actual cost of the product at source, the logistics, and our work; it is quoted before you commit and does not change afterwards.
Questions about the service
Is a trading card concierge the same as a personal shopper?
In spirit, yes, but with product verification, export logistics and full-value insurance built in, and specialised entirely in trading card products.
Do I pay before I see the product?
No. You receive photographs of the exact units first. Settlement follows your approval.
What happens if the product cannot be found?
You are told, promptly and honestly. There is no charge for a search that yields nothing you approve.
Can I use the service for one box, or only for cases?
Either, within the USD 5,000 minimum engagement. Single cards, blisters and collection boxes are within scope as well.
